2020 Local Community Outreach
Our goal at Reynolds Culligan is to help our community not only by providing clean water, but also supporting those in need. Over the past year, COVID-19 has posed a series of challenges for our local community. Therefore, we decided we needed to step in to help.
In April, we donated a pallet of bottled water to Second Harvest Food Bank. Second Harvest Food Bank serves 200 agencies within Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton, Pike, and Wayne counties. On average, Second Harvest Food Bank provides food to about 60,000 people per month and we were happy to help support the need!
Additionally, we also donated a pallet of bottled water to PVEN Food Pantry. PVEN is a local food pantry that services low income families in Monroe County. In April alone, PVEN proudly helped 320 families with donations.
In May, we donated a pallet of bottled water to Iglesia Evangelica Nueva Vida (New Life Evangelical Church) in Reading, PA. Iglesia Evangelica Nueva Vida works with The Ministry of International Emergency Chaplin to help distribute food, water, and other essential items to those in need.
This past month, we held a toy drive for Toys for Tots to help give children a normal holiday in 2020. With the support of our customers and employees, we were able to donate two carloads of toys and two bikes! We hope to continue the tradition in the future and increase our donations in 2021.
Over the years, Culligan has been committed to helping communities in need of clean, safe water through CulliganCares. We believe in supporting the health of our communities, the health of the environment, and being responsible stewards of our water supply.
If you know of a local food bank or fundraiser in need of bottled water donations, send us an email at inquiries@yourwater.net to see if we can help.
